Friends of Unity Blog Hop April 2023 ~ Butterflies

Hello, friends! Welcome to April and welcome to our April Friends of Unity Blog Hop!

Todays cue is always a joy to create with. Butterflies. Such a reflection of beauty and strength in a butterfly.

This border background of butterflies from Migration of Beauty has always been a favorite of mine. I remember the first card I ever created with it and immediately fell in love with the artistry of this stamp.

The sentiment on this card is from a Front and Center set (prev known as Sentiment Kits) called Hope is a Beautiful Thing. I often stamp this sentiment on my envelopes as I love the message it gives regarding the power of hope...

My next card uses images and a sentiment from a Graciellie Design set called Moments of Bliss. Although I didn't do it here, these butterflies are great for fussy cutting and popping up on your card!

I wish you could feel this card! I heat embossed the images and senti twice. The look and feel this technique gives is just amazing!

The frame die I used on the top panel of this card is also by Unity. A layering die set called Scallops & Rectangles Nesting Dies. These sell out quickly so be sure to get it on your wish list!

I hope you’ll  join our Butterflies cue and create some new cards to share in Unity Show & Tell! Please, TAG ME if you do. I would truly love to see them!

My hope is that you read through the entire blog. Makes my heart so happy thinking you do!

As always~

Thanks for spending time with me today!

It brings me so much joy sharing my thoughts and creations with all of you!

Until next time~

Be blessed, friends!

  13. Bobbie Sue, I find that the border stamps can be a lot to color, but you have shown us a less labor intensive way to add amazing color with your technique. I am finding my mind is swirling with thinking about the stamps I have that I could use this with. Thanks for sharing!
