Friends of Unity February Blog Hop~ Monochromatic

Welcome to February, friends!
And welcome to our Friends of Unity February Blog Hop where we are seeing everything in monochromatic style!

I've always loved the look of monochromatic in crafting, but I rarely create with this concept. I am not sure why because the results are always beautiful! As a matter of fact, I loved creating this first card so very much that I can't wait until I make another.

I love ALL Unity Stamps, but I must admit the Angie Girls will always be my favorite. I know many of you share my sentiment towards this line!

This beautiful lady is Journee Girl , and she was a dream to color in monochromatic style!
I absolutely love the coloring on every part of her! She was pretty quick to watercolor now that I have been using Zig brush pens for a few years. I did include a link to the brush pens I used incase you are unfamiliar, but is not an affiliate link. ;)

The top panel is from a die I purchased at Gina Marie Designs called Rectangle Pierced Die. I do believe it is sold out, but hopefully will be back! I buy all of my Enamel Dots from her!

This card is going to a young lady in our bible study group who is facing a new beginning of her own. I am certain this sentiment will encourage, and even perhaps, empower her!

I have been wanting to use this Sweet Sprinkled Donut set by Graciellie Designs. And this months cue was the perfect time! I am loving the outcome of this purple mono style! The donut and sentiments are all stamped in VersaFine Clair ink in Monarch. I stamp all of my images in Versafine Clair. And you can get them from Unity!

You can't tell in the photo, but I traced the squiggle lines on the donut and filled the heart hole with these beautiful Nuvo Jewel Drops in Pale Periwinkle. Oh how I wish you could see and touch the amazing effect it gave! Did you know can get these drops and more at Unity!

I stamped and watercolored the donut first, loosely watercolored around it and then stamped my sentiments. :)

I would love to see your take on the monochromatic design!

As always~
Thanks for spending time with me today!

If I may, I'd love to invite you to follow my blog.
There is a "follow" button up a bit and to the right. --->
Not the follow by email, it's up just a bit from it. Thank you so much!
It brings me so much joy sharing my thoughts and creations with all of you!

Until next time~

Be blessed, friends!
