Friends of Unity Blog Hop March 2023~ Winnie The Pooh

Hello, friends! Welcome to our March FOU Blog Hop all about Pooh and his friends!

"You don't spell love, you feel it." And the greatest of these is love...

Did you know Winnie the Pooh was named after a real life black bear and a swan? Awesome, huh!?

My first card uses the adorable Oh, dear set. I was completely inspired by a card Angie Blom made cutting the sentiment through the tree. Takes a bit of masking, but so easy to achieve! I paired it with that fun Oh Hello! sentiment and a line element stamp from the set Full of Surprises.

I love this card, but I do wish I hadn't colored Pooh so dark. He blends in too much with the tree. I may lighten him up a bit, yet.

This next card uses the sweet Pooh & Piglet set A Splendid Place. I love this sentiment from this set.

What I love most about this image is how lovingly Piglet is looking at Pooh. Sigh...

Can I just be real? I am not really confident in creating with cutesy stamps like this. I think it's creating the scene around the image that I find challenging sometimes. And that is ok! Still fun!

On the Unity website I absolutely love the card both Alaine and Angie Blom made using this stamp set. I am so inspired by Alaine's Copic coloring and Angie's watercoloring.

I hope you’ll  join our Pooh cue and create some new cards to share in Unity Show & Tell! Please, TAG ME if you do. I would truly love to see them!

My hope is that you read through the entire blog. Makes my heart so happy thinking you do!

As always~

Thanks for spending time with me today!

It brings me so much joy sharing my thoughts and creations with all of you!

Until next time~

Be blessed, friends!

Bobbie Sue

  10. These are so cute. I love the vintage sort of look of them. Another thing I love is your bold statement of your faith under your photo. I also have chronic pain, and do my best to minimize it, and not notice it. Crafting is good.... :)

  17. Hi There! I read your post on the Unity blog from today under the Tuesday Thoughts, Inspired by “Simple Words” just now. It totally resonated with me. Thank you! I don’t do Facebook or Instagram, but I will read a blog and comment now and then, so I came to find you and say hello. I love your lilac card over there. These Pooh cards are great, too. Nise G.
