Welcome, friends! And welcome to our August Blog Hop!
This months cue is Let's go for a Ride.
I wish I had the set called For the Guys. I would have made a card from each image!
My first card may look familiar as I accidently shared it last week forgetting I wanted to save it for this blog hop. I did make some changes to it though! Can you tell?
This amazing vintage truck is from the August KOM.
(Here's the original)
(and here's the change)
The ground is obvious, but can you see the several subtle differences?? :)
The first one is much more soft, but I do love the striking changes!
Honest opinion! before or after?
My next card uses the bicycle from the March 2020 KOM and the sentiment from one of my favorite sentiment sets called Having Hope. I love and appreciate that Unity is such a diverse stamp company and provides so many faith based stamps.
The awesome peekaboo die is by Gina Marie Designs.
(I truly love black and white cards.)
Notice the offset of the bicycle? I did this in order for the verse number to show. This is a card that wont fit in it's A2 envelope so I will either enclose it in a card box or atop a gift.
I always like to know which card is your favorite!! Mine is definitely the vintage truck!
My hope is that you read through the entire blog. Makes my heart so happy thinking you do!
As always~
Thanks for spending time with me today!
If I may, I'd love to invite you to follow my blog.
There is a "follow" button up a bit and to the right. --->
Not the follow by email, it's up just a bit from it. Thank you so much!
It brings me so much joy sharing my thoughts and creations with all of you!
Until next time~
Be blessed, friends!
Bobbie Sue
I hope you have a chance to visit each blog and leave a little (or a lot of :) love along the way . I know they are all equally as wonderful and unique!
There are some pretty awesome giveaways with each hop! Including one from myself! Be sure you comment on EACH blog post to be entered in the drawing.
This months winners will be announced during next months blog hop!!

The winner from my June (I didn’t participate in July) FOU blog is Mary from the blog Life in South Texas. . Congratulations! Please read the following few paragraphs:
It helps us identify you as winners if you will, please sign your comment with your name. Often it only shows us a blog name that leaves us uncertain of who you are. :)
The links I share are NOT affiliate links. I just love sharing MY LOVE of Unity products with you! :)
Friends, please know that our hops are not sponsored.
(Although, I know Unity Stamp Co. lovingly approves) Because your support is so valuable and so appreciated, prizes are given from the creators own private stash of Unity stamps.
There are 8 of us hoping this month! Be sure to go back to any you may have missed!
Gorgeous cards, Bobbie Sue! I loved your truck card before but those added touches really made it more beautiful!! And there's something so classic about black & white cards... Love your second card too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Mary for last month's hop!I love both of the vintage truck cards, but the attention to detail like the sky through the windows takes it just over the top. In contrast, the vintage bike in just black and white is also beautiful. ALl gorgeous cards!
ReplyDeleteLove the original and the subtle additions to your truck card… the additions make it feel like you are at a beach. The bicycle in simple black & white is striking!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! I absolutely adore your style! There's always such a softness and peacefulness to your art.
ReplyDeleteSoooo glad to be seeing your heartfelt cards again. Enjoy and look forward to them on Facebook. Cannot never ever pick a favorite, but you have a special special beauty like none other in how you pick and use colors. Your less is as always spectacular! You've always had my prayers poking ya sweetie.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love how you offset that bike off the edge of the card! We get so tied into the boundaries of our cards and forget to creatively think outside the edges! Live the first card the first time and love it the second 🤩
ReplyDeleteYour cards are lovely, especially your two versions of the truck. A great theme this month
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, both truck cards are really pretty! I do love the ground in the 2nd one. Black & white cards are always so very elegant. I'm with you, tho, the truck cards are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are awesome. If I had to choose between the 2 versions of the truck I would go with the 2nd because I love the mix of warm and cool colors together. It is amazing! if I had to pick between the two cards I don't think I can choose because I love your coloring and the black and white one is gorgeous! I can't wait to try this as I have the die border too!
ReplyDeleteI really like both of the truck cards but the original is my favorite. And the bicycle card is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove both your cards. The coloring on the KOM truck is lovely. TFS!
ReplyDeleteAmazing cards my friend!
ReplyDeleteOH sweet lady, you know I can not choose! I LOVE ALL of your cards. I too am fond of that truck though and your coloring is amazing! But I love the simplicity and elegance of your 2nd card. Just beautiful cards. Thanks for the inspiration & hope you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteDarling cards and
ReplyDeleteI love the after
card with the deeper
colors.
Carla from Arizona
Awesome cards! I love the truck with the pumpkins! Great bicycle image too!
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing cards! I love, love, love the truck card and both versions are beautiful. Really can't pick a favorite.
ReplyDeleteI always love your gorgeous cards! Your first one is still my absolute favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love the after one Bobbie Sue! Your coloring just amazes me, my friend!!!! That card is simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteI like both of your cards, as always. :) The vintage truck is my favorite. I am looking forward to inking that one up. So great to see your work again.
ReplyDeleteThe vintage truck is my favorite, and honestly I like the original a little bit more. But only because I think it makes the pumpkins and flowers and such pop just a little bit more. I love the bicycle card as well. Need to play around with the black and white a bit myself.
ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are wonderful! The truck is my favorite (I have a thing for vintage trucks) and I like the original one best. Allison Bell
ReplyDeleteThat vintage truck with the pumpkins couldn't be more perfect for fall. I love the way you colored it in both version, but I think the first one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards. I like the before version for the truck.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards as usual! Love that we both used the same bicycle! I love it in black and white!
ReplyDeleteLate response from me but love your cards!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Love the black and white, I just don’t think of doing that but it’s a great effect! I love both of the truck cards, it’s hard to choose a favorite. I kind of lean toward the first one of Inhad to choose.😊
