Hello, friends!
Welcome to May and welcome to our Friends of Unity Blog Hop!
This months cue is Flora & Fauna. Which is simply plants and animals in nature. Such a beautiful cue!
Insects are a diverse group of the natural animal kingdom, and since I am an insect lover it made sense for me to use them! :)
This butterfly moth topped floral cluster beautifully screams Flora and Fauna! Such a gorgeous stamp from the February 2020 Sentiment Kit. This sentiment and floral cluster are also heat embossed. I find myself heat embossing so many of my stamped sentis and images.
love the texture it gives to the card!
These dragonflies, from a Graciellie Design set called Hope & Strength, are just gorgeous. Especially in black and white! I embossed them onto vellum and love the soft, but magnificent, look it gives them. The Wonky Stripes BG is a new favorite of mine! I stamped in VersaFine Nocturne (also found at Unity) and heat embossed. It gives it a fantastic bumby and grainy texture.
(His mercies are new every morning, friends.)
I always like to know which card is your favorite!!
My hope is that you read through the entire blog. Makes my heart so happy thinking you do!
As always~

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Bobbie Sue, I love that you did not color the dragonflies. I love that look so much!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards and you are still the queen of spattering!!
ReplyDeleteThe soft yellow shading on the first one is really eye catching. I was reading up on trends in web design this week (for work) and would you believe that a gradient background is a web design trend this year? Who knew card making could align so much with tech?!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards they are amazing
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are beautiful, and I just love the splatters on your first card. It adds so much to your design.
