Friends of Unity~ Favorite Unity stamp of 2019

Hello friends!

Welcome to 2020 and welcome to our January Friends of Unity Blog Hop!

This months cue is Favorite Unity stamp of 2019. Talk about difficult! I have soooo many favorites! I was able to narrow it down to two.

This card uses the absolutely beautiful woman from Angie Blom's My Heart Trusts and a sentiment from Graciellie Designs set called My Soul Finds Rest. Saved by love is only part of a sentiment from this set. I love that I can just stamp a portion of a sentiment to best fit what the image is saying.

I watercolored her hair and shirt with Zig Keuretake markers. On her skin I used a classics color palette from Prima. I'm loving this stencil from Tailored Expressions. I wasn't sure I would like the color of the Distress Oxide as a background to the image, but I truly love it. I did test the color on a scrap piece of watercolor paper and was surprised by how yellow it is. It is a really beautiful color.

I see myself when I look at this image. I have indeed been saved by love. I have love that has captured both my heart and my soul. The soft expression on her face and the placement of her hands over her heart echo my sentiments when I think of the sacrifice on the cross.

My hope and prayer is that this year brings you a peace we all search for. And a reminder that you, too, have been saved by love.

Please, share with me your favorite 2019 stamp(s) from Unity. I challenge you to create a new make with your favorite(s) and would love a tag so that I may see it!

As always~
Thanks for spending time with me today!
